Before is share my stories I would like to help the ones in need. This helped a lot for me at least. But these creatures of hell are different with everybody I read. I’m Dutch so sorry for my bad English, I hope you’ll understand. I’m in this for 9 month now and was hoping they would die on their own but no. If you can buy Diatomaceous earth and put every square in you house with this powder. The floor walls and ceiling. Do it with a broom and a specially the crack hit it hard so the powder goes everywhere. There will be a lot of dust. So protect yourself with mouth protection if you can’t stand it. They hate it. But they won’t got the first time so repeat. In the end they get used to it. I thought I had to hold on for 9 month because I read the internet that they don’t live longer then 9 month, till I viseted this site then this hope was gone. Further use a hot iron on your bed, couch. Press it hard in the viber so you go deep in the furniture. This kills them. Repeat this too. If you want you can even sleep in covered in Diatomaceous earth. I don’t know if this is healthy or not but it gave me rested nights and I read that farmers do it to if they go to the chickens. We have Vaseline here I don’t know if this is available everywhere, it’s a thick clear creme when they go in it they die. These creatures use air current and land on my face when I have the Vaseline thick ony face you can fell them crawling and dieing in it. It’s a dicesting feeling but better then them crawling on my body. I hope this will help somebody bc I wish you all a normal live and this creatures from hell dead.

for Note: This creatures got use to the diatomaceous earth (DE) after about a half year. If I knew they live longer then 9 month then I would have used it better and would have used it better and not just a little bit at once. If you use it do it big so they will die and don’t get used to it. The best thing with the DE is you don’t have to use it everyday. It’s best to let it and don’t wipe it of. I don’t know in wich frequentie it is best to do your house again. After a view day or week.
And if you iron the couch, bed etc but it is not iron proof you can put a cotton towel between the iron and matras.

I just use baking soda it’s a lot healthier you can throw it everywhere and then vacuum it up like it’s Carpet Fresh and it kills them you got to repeat daily though eventually it dries them all out and they die. It’s hard if the house is heavily infested but it’s worth to drive it stops them immediately I throw out large handful at the ceiling let it come down over everything in the room. So I start at the corner and stand back about 5 ft and throw it at the ceiling in my back up another 5 ft and throw it at the ceiling all over the place. Then I dusted all off with a little fluffy Duster knocking to the floor and vacuum it up with a canister back that is now full of baking soda so it kills them in the back and cleaner also. This works in automobiles very well and I blow it out with a leaf blower it doesn’t even take a couple minutes to do a baking soda coverage and blow out and it stops them instantly in their tracks. Something about the alkalinity they don’t like to somehow it stops them from biting and itching on me I don’t know how but I don’t think they like alkalinity. Call or right back anytime if you need any help this is Bill , doe1769@yahoo.com

God bless you pray very hard God is the Healer he will help he is our father and he loves us bless His holy name

Thank you, I plan to use your suggestions. Quick Question you sleep in/on Diatomaceous earth?

I used to powder the bed too yes. It helped a while. I’m still in this, one year later. A lot has changed. If I clean the walls every day or every two days there is almost no activity, I wash the walls as wet as possible and very foamy from detergent. Every square inch. We sleep in a combination of vaseline baby oil. Put it on 3 times a night. Mostly it is like they are not there, but completely gone I didn’t get till now. Still experimentating. I know for everybody it is different but cleaning the walls I would strongly advise everybod. I am a very sensitive person and so is my skin. If I walk into a room I can feel them fall on me very subtle. Sometimes it is just a hair, I thank God. But when I cleaned good it doesn’t happen.

Recommended Treatment Provider

We recommend you use a licensed professional to address a bird mite problem. Don’t wait or the problem will get much worse and more expensive to treat. We have a list of pest control companies that are specifically qualified to treat bird mites.

  • They come to your house for no charge and give a free estimate.
  • Even if you decide not to use them, you get free professional advice.
  • Most pest control companies have never dealt with bird mites before. You need to use a bird mite specialist.

Follow this link to find a Qualified Local Exterminator near you.

Keep in mind that if bird mites are not treated correctly, even if the correct chemicals are used, they can become resistant to those chemicals. Don’t use a pest control company unless they have extensive experience treating bird mites.

Also, many of our readers have followed up with (or used outright) natural solutions and pesticide-free, such as on our Treatments Protocols page Follow this link to that page.
