I used to powder the bed too yes. It helped a while. I’m still in this, one year later. A lot has changed. If I clean the walls every day or every two days there is almost no activity, I wash the walls as wet as possible and very foamy from detergent. Every square inch. We sleep in a combination of vaseline baby oil. Put it on 3 times a night. Mostly it is like they are not there, but completely gone I didn’t get till now. Still experimentating. I know for everybody it is different but cleaning the walls I would strongly advise everybod. I am a very sensitive person and so is my skin. If I walk into a room I can feel them fall on me very subtle. Sometimes it is just a hair, I thank God. But when I cleaned good it doesn’t happen.
DajamaanParticipantfor Note: This creatures got use to the diatomaceous earth (DE) after about a half year. If I knew they live longer then 9 month then I would have used it better and would have used it better and not just a little bit at once. If you use it do it big so they will die and don’t get used to it. The best thing with the DE is you don’t have to use it everyday. It’s best to let it and don’t wipe it of. I don’t know in wich frequentie it is best to do your house again. After a view day or week.
And if you iron the couch, bed etc but it is not iron proof you can put a cotton towel between the iron and matras. -
