I’ve been using uv lights as well and yes, they glow orange, but also blue depending on either stage of growth or when they ladt fed. And yes, the “strings” you are finding are related to the infestation but haven’t figured out exactly how. Exoskeleton makes sense though. Check out nano sprayers with uv light. Good luck,
